I am on cloud 9 right now. The weather is gorgeous!!! I am loving this warm weather. Classes are going well. My weekend in Pittsburgh was great! The women are out in little shorts and skirts. I see sexy college girls everywhere! What more can I ask for?
I have noticed something. All the good looking college women hibernate. I see them at the beginning of the school year when it is warm and then I do not see them until the spring! Just an observation.
I went down to Pittsburgh to visit my friend Jared. He used to go to college until he failed out basically. I like to visit every now and then just to see how he is doing. We went to Pitt Saturday night and went to a decent party. We kinda got it jumping though. They played some Wayne Wonder and me and Jared set it off. Grabbed the first cute girls we saw and started dancing. Then some dudes started hating but you all know it it is! The Boy Wonder (me) just danced the night away. Sunday I ended up with my roommate with his family. His mom had a birthday dinner and all. It was just a chill and relaxed day.
But I gotta go. I am behind on my senior thesis. I have to have my bibliography and all by tomorrow. I may hit the library, I may go enjoy the weather. Too many choices, not enough time...
A place where I can place my thoughts on politics, life, religion, relationships, and a myopia of other mental drivel I decide.

Update on Her
So much love to share
Pure blackness, oneness so rare
So much love to give
Let them know they're missin' out
Mama Africa
Has so much love to share
Sweet blackness, oneness
Meet me there
So much love to give
Let them know they missin' out
Sing again
Akon - Mama Africa
Me and her had our first conversation since January. Well, what happened was that I wrote her a letter saying that our situation was kind of unnecessary and that I hope we can be friends. I just wanted to break the ice and felt the letter was a good way to do it. So Thursday night I see her in the library and we talk. 4 hours. We talked about everything that has happened. She came over, said hello to my younger brother and we had a long talk. I guess we are going to try and be friends. I hope we can actually do that.
My brother was with me all week since Good Friday. He left yesterday. I hope he enjoyed his visit. It was rough at the beginning. He really does not take well to strangers. So he had a Baltimore mug on for the first few days. But he warmed up and had fun. I hope he comes back again. I also hope it is warm when he does. Hahahaha!!
I love that Akon song, "Mama Africa". That is my joint!! Listen to it. It really makes you want to go to Africa. I hear it, close my eyes, and I imagine myself there.

My Date and Easter Weekend
I know you all are curious as to how my "night" went. It was interesting.
So the girl came over. Her name is "Dobbie"She used to go here but she graduated. So she came over and we drove to the grocery store. We picked up all the ingredients. She paid for all the groceries!! I was surprised. I was willing to split it but she insisted on paying for it. I am broke so I am not too mad at all. When then went home and prepped dinner
This part was interesting. While cooking dinner and all, we danced and drank wine. She kept on feeding me glasses of wine and I got drunk before we even ate. I had not eaten all day and she kept giving me drinks. I told her I am a lightweight and she said she did not care. Yeah, so I was embarrassed. I did not do anything too stupid. I just felt stupid for getting drunk. My manhood told me I should be able to hold my liquor. I can't.
So we ate dinner and then we relaxed. We just talked. She said she is not looking for a relationship. It kinda put me on cold because I know she is the kind of girl I could end up getting attached to. There are girls I can just kick it with and be cool but I can't do that with her. So we talked while watching South Park. It was just really relaxed. I am going to be careful with my feelings around her. But it went well. She left and I had a very "I-dont-give-a-fuck" attitude. I am serious. She left and I said I dont care what happens between us. I enjoyed being around her but it felt strange to have that reaction.
It is Easter Break now. We had Friday and this upcoming Monday off. I have drank a lot this weekend. I was drunk Thursday and Saturday and I drank Friday, This is not my normal behavior. Now the 2 times I was drunk, I went to sleep sober. I guess its ok because I drink rarely so it does not matter. I have been partying it up and I have been careful but I enjoyed myself. Its all good.

Reasons To Be Happy
I am cheesing right now!!
1. My little brother is visiting me this Friday. My younger brother is coming up Good Friday and is staying for a week with me. I am sooooooo excited!! I miss his punk ass. I know he cant wait. He is 15 so I guess he looks up to me. He calls em talking about I need to find him a college girl. He does not want to sleep by himself, he needs a cuddle buddy! Hahahahaha!! He thinks he is me!!! But I cannot wait for him to get here. He is not doing well in school but I hope him being here motivates him to do better.
2. I have a date Thursday!! This has me really excited also. It is with this girl whom I have had a crush on since my sophmore year here at college. She is beautiful. Her personality is nice. She is one of the sweetest people I have met at college. We were in Latin class together last year and I used to tutor her. I cannot stop smiling when I am around her.
She called me out of the blue yesterday. We talked and she said she wanted to hang out. Now normally people say that but there is no follow up. But she really pushed it. She asked about my schedule and all. So Thursday she is coming over and we are cooking dinner together. I cannot wait!! I was so excited after she called that I did a little dance and everything.I am on cloud 9!!
3. The weather here is improving!! It is warm today and I am loving it. Plus I look good, smell good. Basically, I am the man and you all know it!!!!
I love being happy

Here We Go
This weekend was a whole lot of fun
Friday:
I had a Caribbean Party at my place. It was a whole lot of fun. I had the soca, reggae, dancehall blasting. My Jamaican friends came over. Nick from the BVI came through. Sherette from Trini even came over. Even the Hondurans showed up. Here are some pics

I cannot wait to do it again!!!!
Saturday:
I went to the dollar theater and saw Stomp The Yard. I liked it. The dance sequences were tight. The plot was kind of cliche but it was definitely the hotness. Then I hung out all night. I got into a lil situation with a female but other than that it was a good night.
Sunday:
HOMEWORK HOMEWORK HOMEWORK. College just needs to realize I have a social life.

No KY Jelly
I just got out of this meeting and I will explain why.
I am the vice president of the Radio Club. This means I take a lot of heat when things go wrong. Our station is shitty. There is no other way to describe it. It is super super bootleg. Like we use rotary phone dials for our volume.
Well, this is the first year there is a student radio station. Never on my campus has there been one. And my colleagues and I have never ever ever ever ran a radio station so we are winging this. But we have had a shitload of problems.
1. Our one advisor, Bill, is being difficult. He gives us a hard way to go. He is not supportive. He does lil sneaky shit like telling the IT department to not give us a server. Then he blames it on IT. I am about to choke a bitch up in here.
2. Because of the above, our members are getting discouraged. We have very few listeners and our DJs are not happy at all. So we are starting to lose people. We still have around 15 people but that is lower than what we used to have.
3. Our signal is weak due to some FCC shit. This means that our whole campus does not even get the radio station. Our advisor is being a dick and is not even trying to assist so we can get FCC approved.
So basically, our advisor has been putting it in without any KY
So during this meeting with our advisor's boss, he did his little song and dance and had mesmerized his boss. He was talking that jive, that " I love and support you all through whatever you do" bullshit. His boss was real with us and told us about this initiative involving our campus and the other satellite campuses. So now we are going to our student government. We have no other choice. We need to make sure this initiative to get this hi-def radio stuff goes through otherwise we are screwed.

An Icebox Where My Apartment Used To Be
It is freezing in Erie PA right now!! I mean butter f*ucking cold!! The wind is blowing. I feel like I am in Siberia. Someone save me! Shouldn't it be warm now?? Can we stop getting snow?? Can I see the sunshine sometime soon. I am hating this ish.
I realy do not have much to say. I am well. My morning class was cancelled so I am happy. My 12:30 class got out early so today has been slow. Now I am eating oatmeal and I may go work out around 2:30. Until next time...

Let Me Tell You
This week has definitely been an interesting one
Monday: I missed my 9:30am class. The night before I went to a strip club and was exhausted when I woke up. I just could not get up. Then I went to my Dance Appreciation class. I love that class. I think it is because my professor. Solvieg has sooooooooo much positive energy. She makes you interested in dance. Afterwards I go to dinner with the Vybez Fam (that is what me, Nick, and my homegirl Mari call ourselves for our Caribbean radio show). Then at 8 I go to boxing practice. I come home, do some reading and thats it.
Tuesday: I go to my 10am Latin class. There is this girl in my class I cannot stand. I mean I wish I could just drop her on her face. She is just rude, no home training. She text messages all class long. She complains the entire time. She disrespects our professor. I just wish she would shut the fuck up. This girl even disrespects her boyfriend in front of our entire class. He just needs to grow a pair. I go back and go to sleep. I then do some reading and just mill around for the rest of the day. Oh yeah. I had work so I do that
Wednesday. I had my 9:30 class. This class is killing me. I cannot keep doing this but I have to. I suffer from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). The link can give you more info. I try to combat this by taking classes later in the day. What this does is allow me more to time to actually feel awake. For example, when I had an 11am class I would wake up at 9. This gave me 2 hours to feel a bit more energetic. But this early class is not helping. Its as if no matter how early I go to sleep, I feel lethargic. It takes me longer to wake up than most people. So my doctor recommends that I take later classes to allow myself to wake up. The only problem is that I had to take this class and it is only offered at that time. So I am going to do well in this class no matter what. I may have to come up with a new strategy or something. I will figure it out.
But Wednesday night was interesting. I went to this club with a girl named Miranda. She is 22 and she was in a class of mine fall term. She is definitely attractive. I like her style. So went to this spot called Peccadilos for college night since I am not 21 yet. We dance and everything. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. There were several times she wanted me to kiss her but I did not. This was our first time out and I did not want to push it too far. We did have fun though. We may hang out tonight, depending on what these other women I am sort of seeing are up to. I have to balance and give them equal time.
Thursday: I struggled to get to my 10am class because I went out the night before. I tried my best to ignore te annoying chick in my Latin class. I dragged my ass to work. Then I went to dinner and boxing practice. I just chilled and did some reading fow a while. I went to grab a bite to eat and met this girl named Caitlin. She is a freshman but she looks good. She also has a boyfriend. But we played pool and I showed her how to shoot properly. There was some flirting and all going on. One of my residents who was there noticed. She may come over this weekend. She told me to call her. I sure will.

Outta My System
If you love something, let it go,
and if it comes back then that's how you know.
I got to the stop light then I made four rights.
Now I'm back where I started,
and you're back in my life.
The further I go, the closer I get back to you.
I say I moved on,
Til' I'm reminded of you.
Can somebody help me?
Help me get out of this circle
Marques Houston - Circle
Im too attached
My heart won't let me fall back
I got it bad
Thats what you can call that (ah)
And when I see you on the streets
Thats the worst for me
Use to love the little things you did
Thats what works for me
Its too major
Dont see you in my pager
Know What you doing?
Where you at?
Or Can I see you later?
The fellas telling me
Just let her go Bow
Believe me Im trying man
I just dont know how
Bow Wow - Outta My System
I miss her!!! I really do. This week has been rough on that account. I woke up craving her next to me. I want her to kiss me. I crave her touch. I desire her conversation. Like Usher said, I got it bad. All I have been doing is listening to love songs. Its weird. I am hanging out with with other girls and I still think about her. I mean, I like the two girls and I ma interested in seeing where it goes but I still think about her. I just cannot help it. I find myself wanting to call her. I want to know if she feels the way I do. I miss her. Like Raheem DeVaughn said:
I need you like I need you. And IIIIIIII wanna love you like I want to. Baby I love you, I love you, i love you baaaaaaby!!
and if it comes back then that's how you know.

A Story
Me:(As my hand strikes her face) THIS IS A MAN'S WORLD!!!
Ok. I just want to hit someone and scream that. I just think it would be funny. I considered doing that to the cashier at CVS here at school. I had the urge to do it. Dont know why, I just wanted to.
Anyways... back to why I wanted to blog. I was at dinner with Cnel this past Friday. We got into a convo about one of my exes. I had this one ex who I had dated from junior year of high school until the first month of college. I was explaining to him that she likes to date guys with a "story".
What I mean by a story is that their life has to have some sort craziness to it. They had to have a rough childhood. Or they want to a gangster. She grew up in the suburbs and lead a normal life. There were not ghettos, no drugs, no abuse. She had everything she ever wanted. Now she dates guys who I guess fit some sort of fantasy. I do not know what it is.
She used to ask tons of questions. She also would try and copycat whatever I would do. Because I did not have a lot of parental supervision, I could stay out all night. I was fiercely independent. So she would try to pull that with her parents. It just would not fly.
I do not get it. Why would kids from suburbs want to grow up how I grew up? I mean it was rough. There were times I went hungry. We were broke. I lived without electricity. I slept in bus stations and lived with random people. I never had any of the things I wanted and barely got what I needed. I wish I grew up cookie cutter. I wish I lived in the suburbs and had all my need sufficiently taken care. I wish I grew up with a mom and dad. I wish I had grown up with a stable parent. These kids don't realize that those of us from the ghettoes and poor neighborhoods dreamed of having half of what they got.
These kids just do not get it. The life we lived is not cool. There is nothing "hard" to it. There are no awards for growing up poor. Growing up poor is not cool. It really is not. Ladies, it is not interesting. Ity is not fascinating to grow up poor or anything. That hard scrabble life aint cool at all. It really isn't. That shit is for the birds.

Break Time
I have been home on Spring Break since Friday. It feels good to be back.
I just needed to get away from it all. For about the past two months at school, I have not been feeling like myself. My mood has been different. I have felt very grumpy and moody. I have been more reclusive. My patience is thinning with people. I find that I am isolating myself from others. All I want to do is sleep. I just do not feel like myself. I know something is wrong. This is not normal. No one can tell me otherwise. I will do some investigating when I return to school. I just know.
I really dont have much to say. I have been taking it easy. Anyway. When I have something to say, I will let you all know.

Things You Do Not Know About Me
I was tagged by Brooklyn Diva to do this. Here we go
1. I am very selfish and arrogant
The main reason I attend the college I am at is because I will be the first Black male to have graduate from my department. Once I heard that, I knew I would end up here. I knew I would get in a history book so I had to do it. Its the opportunity of a lifetime.
I wake up in the morning thinking I am sexy. I will tell you I am one of the best humans to ever live. I think I have it like that. I believe there is nothing I cannot do. I have a Knaye West complex
2. I have addictive tendencies
I pick up bad habits easily. Just small ones. I quit biting my nails now to always cleaning them. Once I drop one little habit, I pick up another one.
3. I struggle to express my emotions
Past girlfriends have complained about this a lot. Especially the one I broke up with right after I got to college. They have said that I do not express my emotions alot. They want me to be more expressive. I can agree with that. I kind of do not express my emotions. I feel sad but I do not express it. I feel angry and I don't express it. I guess I need to express my emotions more. They say it is detrimental to not be expressive. I do not know.
4. I am an introvert
Some of you may laugh, (esp Cnel) but I am an introvert. I am very selective of my friends. I do not reveal much about myself to people. I still get nervous in crowds. But I love my alone time. I really do. I get annoyed with people (especially women) very easily. It just works like that. Sometimes I hate people. I mean that seriously.
5. I hold grudges
I never forget when you do me wrong. I may forgive but I never forget. I will always remember, even if forced to live as long as God himself
6. I have a special definition of the difference between confidence and arrogance
Confidence - I am the best
Arrogant - I am better than you
You see the difference???
I am going to tag: Hassan, Missy, So Wise,

Da Weekend Flava!!
I cannot keep living like this!! My weekend was live!!!
Friday:
My really good friend had her recital that night. She is the first African-American to gaduate from our music department here. So her recital was called " I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings". It was beautiful. She invited me to do a poem by Paul Lawrence Dumbar. Here are some pics
Savanity and her lil brother

Yours truly
After the recital, me and Mouse went to my place with another friend and watched a movie. Mouse ended up staying until 4am again (she is making a habit of it). I still have not outright asked her if she is feeling me. I need to do that very soon.
Saturday
I did speed dating that night. It was fun. I met a few young ladies. Some were really feeling me. I have to check my mailbox to see if they sent me their info. I did get a phone call that night. She called me about an hour after speed dating. Shorty somehow got my cell number. They have not even mailed out the info yet but she got my cell number. I looked her up on facebook.com and she is cute. I will definitely keep in touch.
Sarah (this Asian chick I just met Wednesday who has been blowing me up) called me and wanted me to come over. I went over to her place and chilled at her party. The party then moved to my place. Some of my residents came over and we danced the night away. I ended up kissing this chick named Brandy. I worked with her last year. She is cute but I never thought there would be something between us. I did not go to sleep until 6am
Sunday
I did a whole bunch of homework and watched the Grammys. I was disappointed with the John Legend/John Mayer/ Corinne Bailey Rae performance. That was a dud performance. Sarah then called me and asked if she could come over. We ended up watching Blow with Johnny Depp. I love that movie. She left at 2am. That girl must be feeling me. She makes sure I hear from her.
I hav a feeling that all these women are going to get me in trouble. I need to slow my life down. I am glad break is coming up soon.

Break Time
Now I should be at class right now. My class is at 11. Its is 11:10 and I walked outside, felt how cold it is and decided against going. I just do not feel like going to class. I am exhausted. I cannot sleep for some reason. Plus I just did not feel like walking to class. Can someone get me a Hover-Round?
It is cold here in Erie, PA. How cold you may ask? It is 10 degrees with winds at 21mph. That means you feel it in your bones. I walked from my apartment to the cafeteria, a 3 minute walk, and my joints started stiffening as if I had arthritis. I went to class on Monday and it was -5 degrees. It is colder here than in Alaska.
Now with all that said, my fellow bloggers should make donations. Send me soup, ramen, or anything that I can fix inside my place. Blankets, heaters, gloves, hats (make sure the hats are large. I have locs) are also appreciated. Cash can also be sent!!! Email me for my address!! Hahaha!!
Let me go shower and do some work since I decided to play hooky

A World Of Girls
I've kissed the most exotic face
From London to Honolu
Made love in the most romantic places
What more can one man do
Livin' in a world of girls
It's like swimmin' in a sea of pearls
Taste like caviar
Watching shooting stars
Like silk to the touch
Diamonds in a rush
Joe - World of Girls
Anyone who knows me knows that I love women. I love them. I love the way they walk. I love the way they talk. I love their little mannerisms, their temper tantrums. I love how they take care of themselves. I enjoy their company. It was only recently in my life that I had more male best friends than female best friends. I just love the company of women.
My love for women transcends color. Yes, I, a Black man dates outside the race. I have no problem admitting it. I do not have a preference based on color. There are too many gorgeous women of various hues for me to discriminate.
Do I have a preference? No. I do not have a preference. Actually, I think I do. Let me explain:
I say I do not have a preference but I do see a pattern now that I look. I have had romantic encounters with Asian, White, and Black females. I grew up in a mixed neighborhood so it happens. I have been to mixed chools (elementary), all Black (middle school), mostly white (high school and college). So I have been exposed. But I do have an unconscious preference: Black women. I say that because those are the type of females I have had the most romantic encounters with. Its that simple. I do not know if it is exactly a preference or is it just a pattern.
I do keep my options open though. My longest relationship was with a White female. So I do not discriminate. I do not choose one female over the other because of color. I look for their physical attractiveness and their personalities. I just do not factor color in whether I am attractied. I do look at color when it comes to how their families will feel. Color just does not matter when it comes to attractiveness. Thats my opinion. For me, I cannot say that I love all people if I cannot allow myself to fall in love with all people. You catch my drift??
I know some Black women will have a problem with this. Some may not even date me. I know this is true. But if a woman is going to exclude me because I interracially date, then she is not right for me. I just do not see a problem with interracially dating. It does not make me any less "Black" because of it. I miss out on some beautiful people (physically and personality-wise). I have learned a lot about myself because of it. I have learned a lot dating Black females but I have also learned a lot dating outside my race. All in all, I will never stop dating outside my race. I will not start preferring one type of woman over another because of skin color. That's just not me. Plus, I am living in a world of girls.
